Subject: [amos-list] RE : AMOS Assembler
Status: O
X-Status:
From: Minion2197@aol.com
OK, heres one for you guys thats got me puzzeled, and I hope you can help. I
have written a simple piece of code for the AMOS Assembler and the results
are not what I`d expect. All I have done is written a simple
Add/Compare/Branch loop within an Add/Compare/Branch loop within an
Add/Compare/Branch loop. The loops only count to 2, so in total theres a
middle loop of 8 times. But when I test it it takes 26/50ths of a second to
run ! The same program in AMOS takes under 1 ! I`ve even run that program
within a loop of 1000 and its still only 17/50ths of a second ! Why is this ?
Isn`t Assembler faster ? or am I going round the bend ? Has anyone else
tried any assembler using the AMOS assembler with any similar results ?
